ワイヤーロープにSターミナル・エイトロックをカシメた場合のカシメ強度は、ワイヤーロープの破断荷重とほぼ同程度のカシメ強度を得ています。但し、Sターミナルの取付方法はねじ止めを推奨とし、使用方法によりワイヤーの破断荷重に満たず破壊する恐れがありますのでご注意ください。また、特注品としてワイヤロープの耐久性向上を目的とした、ナイロンコーティングロープ等もございますので、ご相談ください（コーティングロープを使用した場合のカシメ強度については、コーティング無しロープのカシメ強度と比較して、30～40％ダウンとなりますのでご注意ください）。

Data shows that caulking strength of S-Terminal and Eight-Lock are approximately the same as the breaking load of wire rope itself. Available with nylon coated rope, which has more durability as a custom-made product.
Please be aware that caulking strength shall be lower by 30 to 40% than caulking strength of non-coated wire rope.
